An experienced HR professional with excellent project management skills and exceptional knowledge of Microsoft’s productivity and collaboration tools, Tara brings more than 13 years of experience supporting strategy development for complex HR operating solutions through a combination of outsourcing, shared service and internal service optimization. She has a broad knowledge of all HR functions with a strong background in benefits and compensation, workforce administration and recruiting & staffing.
Tara’s sourcing knowledge comes from practical experience within the HR industry, including the support of small to large-scale contract transitions and implementations. She has successfully supported more than 25 organizations with designing and implementing HR strategies and transforming their HR processes. Tara specializes in analysis for projects involving benchmarking and feasibility studies, service provider search and selection, and contract and renewal negotiations. Primary responsibilities include cost modeling and business case development, request for proposal development and analysis, and benchmarking.
Before joining herronpalmer, Tara worked as a Senior Consultant for TPI (now ISG) for more than 7 years and gained hands-on experience working as both an HR Generalist and HR Manager in the manufacturing and hospitality industries.
Tara has supported the research and development of several articles and white papers within the HR and Recruitment Process Outsourcing industry. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Human Resources Management from Michigan State University.
