Managing Partner & Co-Founder
A strategic problem-solver who prizes creativity and operational excellence, Felicia has influenced every aspect of HR/benefits delivery from two vantage points: (1) 15 years of consulting with clients on delivery solutions and service providers and (2) 12 years selling and/or managing delivery of solutions on the service provider side. Over the course of her career, she has led product development for a Total Benefits Outsourcing (TBO) solution, sold both institutional investment and administration outsourcing services, built and managed the service delivery function for a 401(k) business, completed due diligence on the acquisition of a subsidiary recordkeeping company, and consulted with dozens of Fortune 500 companies on their outsourcing needs and requirements. Her hands-on experience, paired with a passion for achieving meaningful results, prompts clients to count her an indispensable resource and trusted partner.
Before co-founding herronpalmer with Tony Herron, Felicia spent four years at TPI (now ISG) where she was the engagement director on more than 50 projects encompassing strategic assessment/sourcing analysis, benchmarking, contracting and service provider selection. Felicia specialized in large-scale, multi-service projects involving scope across the benefits spectrum (DB, DC, H&W, Total Absence Management and long-term incentive programs). In addition to her client work, she served on the HR consulting practice’s Management Committee and chaired the employee benefit consulting practice’s intellectual property development group.
Before joining TPI, Felicia was a partner at Towers Perrin where she led the firm’s Midwest regional team in HR/benefits service delivery consulting and served as National DC Practice Leader for eight years.
Felicia’s career also encompasses senior leadership roles at ExcellerateHRO (now Xerox) and American Express Retirement Services (now Wells Fargo).
Felicia holds a Bachelor of Business Arts in Finance and Marketing, summa cum laude, from the University of Minnesota, as well as a Master of Business Administration from the Carlson School of Management at the University of Minnesota. In addition, Felicia has completed the requirements for the FINRA Series 7 and 63 licenses.
